The origins of a sustainable superstar

At Rjukan, Hima is utilising land-based technology to overcome several of the challenges faced by traditional fish farms. To help supply the world’s growing population with a healthy source of protein, land-based aquaculture can now improve harvest volumes, fish size and product quality – and do so on a regular, controlled and optimised basis.

Equally importantly, it ensures production is done in the most sustainable way possible, and at a location that is close enough to markets to deliver improved product quality and freshness for the consumer.
